Returns & Warranty Policy

AutoRiven sells used OEM automotive spare parts directly as a commercial seller. All items are inspected prior to shipment and described as accurately as possible, taking into account their condition as second-hand products.

Each order includes a 30-day commercial warranty from the date of delivery, limited strictly to functional defects, as detailed below.

General Policy

All products sold on autoriven.eu are used OEM automotive spare parts.

As used items, products may show normal cosmetic wear, minor scratches, or visual differences that do not affect functionality and do not constitute a defect.

Product listings may include actual photos, OEM reference numbers, and technical descriptions based on the information available at the time of publication.

Right of Withdrawal (Change of Mind)

In accordance with EU consumer regulations, customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 business days from delivery, without providing a reason.

The right of withdrawal applies only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The part has not been installed, mounted, or used
  • The item shows no signs of installation, modification, or tampering
  • The item is returned in the same condition as received
  • All original labels, seals, markings, and components are intact and complete

In cases of withdrawal due to change of mind:

  • All return shipping costs, including international shipping, are borne by the customer
  • Initial outbound shipping costs are non-refundable
  • AutoRiven reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above conditions

Returns for Defective or Non-Conforming Items

A return request may be submitted within 14 business days from delivery if:

  • The item is defective or not functioning as described
  • The received item does not match the description, photos, or OEM reference shown on the website

After verification, AutoRiven will, at its discretion:

  • Provide a replacement of equivalent value and condition, subject to availability, or
  • Issue a full refund via the original payment method

If the defect or non-conformity is attributable to AutoRiven, return shipping costs will be covered by us.

Compatibility and Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for verifying part compatibility prior to purchase by checking the OEM reference or contacting our support team with the vehicle VIN.

Returns resulting from:

  • Incorrect purchase decisions
  • Assumed compatibility
  • Incorrect vehicle model, engine, or version selection

Are not considered defects or non-conformities.

AutoRiven provides free pre-purchase compatibility assistance to help customers avoid ordering errors.

Return Procedure

To request a return, the customer must contact AutoRiven within 14 business days of delivery by emailing info@autoriven.eu.

The request must include:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos of the item
  • A brief description of the issue

All return requests are subject to review. If approved, return authorization and instructions will be provided.

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.

30-Day Commercial Warranty

All AutoRiven products include a 30-day commercial warranty from the date of delivery, limited to functional defects only.

If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, AutoRiven will:

  • Replace the item with an equivalent used OEM part, subject to availability, or
  • Issue a refund if replacement is not possible

Warranty claims must include:

  • Order number
  • Description of the defect
  • Photos or a short video clearly demonstrating the issue

This commercial warranty does not limit or replace the consumer’s statutory rights under applicable EU conformity laws.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation, wiring, or mounting
  • Damage caused by improper handling or misuse
  • Modifications performed after delivery
  • Components subject to normal wear, including seals, bearings, and rubber parts
  • Damage caused by accidents, overheating, short circuits, or incorrect voltage
  • Electronic components damaged by incorrect coding or programming

Professional installation by a qualified mechanic is strongly recommended.

Damaged Shipments

All items are securely packaged prior to shipment. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged:

  • Request the courier to mark the delivery as accepted with reservation or refuse delivery
  • Take clear photos of the packaging and contents
  • Report the issue within 24 hours to info@autoriven.eu

Accepting delivery without reservation may prevent a courier damage claim.

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed:

  • Within 14 business days after receipt and inspection of the returned item
  • Via the original payment method used for the purchase

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the issue is attributable to AutoRiven.
